Pabrik ikan yang berada di jalur pantura Eretan, Kecamatan Kandanghaur ditutup produksi sementara oleh tim gabungan pemkab Indramayu, pada hari Selasa (9/1/2024).

Pabrik ikan Java Seafood yang memproduksi berbagai makanan olahan exspor menimbulkan bau bangkai yang sangat menyengat hingga radius ratusan meter, sehingga masyarakat sekitar dan pengguna jalan Pantura yang melintas menutup hidungnya.
Tim gabungan dari pemkab Indramayu dinilai lamban karena persoalan ini dikeluhkan masyarakat sejak 2 tahun yang lalu.

Deni (44) pengguna jalan Pantura mengeluhkan bau bangkai dari pabrik Java Seafood ketika lewat.
“Warga sekitar nga berani karna pemiliknya orang asing, padahal saya pribadi mau muntah kalau lewat sini.“ujarnya. Selasa (9/1/2023).

Deni berharap ada sidak dari Disnaker Indramayu untuk mengungkap seperti apa sistem kerja didalamnya.
“Ponakan saya dulunya pernah kerja mas, bilangnya awal perjanjian kerja suruh tandatangan saja, tidak usah di baca bilang HRD, terus kerja didalamnya pun tidak jelas mengenai timbangannya, banyak catatan yang tidak sesuai dengan hasil pendapatan kerja karyawan.” Imbuhnya.
Persoalan ini membuat ketua GNPK-RI Indramayu angkat bicara, “Seharusnya pemkab tanggap ya sebelum ada aduan masyarakat, dan mengenai limbahnya itu dikemanakan.” Ucap Karyanto.
Karyanto akrab disapa elang menghawatirkan mengenai limbah cair sudah lama produksi dikemanakan, “Jangan sampai limbah cairnya di buang kelaut, merusak dan pencemaran lingkungan.” Pungkasnya.
